Accurate, actionable information based on the latest research should be accessible to people with cancer and their families. Information is freely available in a way that the average person can understand and apply to their own lives.

People with cancer can expect a friendly face and listening, compassionate ear when they visit. Staff provide prompt, caring service so clients can get what they need as conveniently as possible.

Stewardship

As a donor-supported organization, Cancer Services is dedicated to building lasting relationships with individuals, businesses, and foundations who make services and programs possible. Donations are used efficiently and ethically to serve the greatest needs of people with cancer.

Our History

Since 1944, Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana has supported local families on their cancer journey. At first, services included medical equipment, health supplies, bed pads, transportation, and financial assistance, all of which we continue to provide to this day.

In the 80+ years since then, much has changed about cancer diagnoses, treatment, and survival, and Cancer Services has changed a lot too. Whether newly diagnosed, or in remission for years, cancer survivors can now meet with an advocate, enjoy a free relaxation massage, attend exercise classes, and much more.

From the start, Cancer Services has been entirely funded by generous donors. Services are available at no cost to families regardless of income or insurance status.

Every cancer experience is unique, but every person with cancer needs and deserves to have a compassionate and knowledgeable companion to walk the journey beside them.
