Survivors Academy

Your physical health is vitally important when facing a cancer diagnosis. Eating right, staying active, and connecting with others can improve your recovery and mood.

Classes and workshops are available at no cost to people with cancer and their families in Northeast Indiana. We offer in person and virtual options.

Breast Cancer:
Facilitated by Rebecca Rader, MSW, and Denise Deeds

  • Second Tuesdays, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Third Tuesdays, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Prostate Cancer: First Thursdays, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Caregivers: Third Wednesdays, 6 to 7:30 p.m.

This support group is open to anyone caregiving in any capacity. It meets at 3420 E. Paulding Rd., Fort Wayne and has a virtual attendance option. People with cancer are also welcome to attend.

TAI CHI FOR HEALTH

Live virtual class: 10:00 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays
