Self-compassion – Research shows that cultivating this practice alone can help with depression and anxiety and enhance the well-being of people with cancer or their caregivers. But what does self-compassion look like in action? And how can we begin to weave more of this into our lives? In this session we’ll explore how it does or does not show up in your life, how that affects your interactions with others and yourself, then try some simple techniques to cultivate it that can be used in any situation to deeply support ourselves when things are tough.
Please join us on Thursday, January 18th at the Healing Arts Center of Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana from 10:30-12:00 as Dr. Jon Walker of Modestly Mindful guides us through this beautiful way of loving ourselves well. This program will also be available remotely via Zoom. Please contact Lauren Richwine at 260-484-9560 or lrichwine@cancer-services.org to request the link.
