In addition to the practical resources available, we also offer a host of complementary care programs designed to alleviate stress and promote wellness.  Clients may attend yoga, drum circle, painting sessions, massage therapy, tai chi and more.

Caring Touch Massage Therapy

Massage can be a relaxing experience and is a great way to provide nurturing self-care. Clients and caregivers may enjoy a free 30-minute massage provided by licensed therapists with specialized training for working with people with cancer. To schedule an appointment, call (260) 484-9560.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is an ancient form of exercise composed of graceful, flowing movements that promotes relaxation and inner calm, increases strength, helps manage pain and stress, and improves breathing, balance and sleep quality. Participants work from a standing or seated position. There is no floor work required.


This weekly class teaches techniques to reduce pain. It includes gentle stretching, body awareness and relaxation exercises. Participants may bring thier own mat or one will be provided.

Drum Circle

Drum Circle allows people to express emotions by making music: beating a drum, striking a bell, tapping stinks together, etc.  No musical ability is necessary.  Instruments are provided.  This program is open to the public. 

Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting in a chair or standing using a chair for support. This is an introductory program appropriate for all abilities.
