On Friday, Shelby Beck and Holly Barnett dropped off 33 bears for our child clients. The two are part of a service organization called Circle K that strives for leadership, fellowship, and service. This is the 6th year they’ve donated bears to an organization, and we are grateful they chose us this year. The organization teamed up with Big Brothers Big Sisters to make the bears. Each child who participated in making the bears was able to keep one and make the other for a child at Cancer Services.

Thank you Circle K and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Our clients will love these.

Thank you Dare to Dream Day Camp

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

On Saturday, Dare to Dream Youth Ranch hosted a day camp for children with cancer in partnership with our organization.  The children and their families enjoyed a day of horseback riding, games, and ranch experiences.

This partnership gave these brave kids and their families the opportunity to do fun activities that enrich their experience and build emotional strength for the challenges they face. Cancer Services is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of these families in a number of ways, and this day camp is just one of them. It was a special day.

Bret Procise, Executive Board Member and Founder at Dare to Dream Youth Ranch, says, “This day camp is exactly why we do what we do here at the Ranch, and is right in line with our mission to encourage children, heal horses, build the family and spread the message of hope.”
