The Summit City ParrotHead Club (SCPHC) held its annual Fall Fundraiser, a special event benefitting Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana, on Saturday, November 19, 2011, at 4D’s Bar & Grill. Donations were accepted and lots of donated items were raffled off to help raise money for people with cancer in our community. The fundraiser featured music by the Party Boat Band and Don Middlebrook of Living Soul from Michigan.

SCPHC raised $1,500 for Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana and we cannot thank them enough. Members of the club presented a check to our development director, Amber Recker, on Saturday, January 28.

The Summit City ParrotHead Club is the only sanctioned ParrotHead club in Fort Wayne. They are a not-for-profit group that organizes community service projects each year. Several fundraising events are held for various charities in our community. Club members simply embrace the writings and music of Jimmy Buffet and choose to leave this world just a little better than we found it while having fun doing it. Our Mission is to give back to our community, the environment, and man(and animal)kind.
